How do I add an AAAA-record?

AAAA records are used to direct your domain to an IPv6 address.

Follow the steps below to add an AAAA record:

1. In your account, navigate to DOMAINS (Left Side Menu) > ACTIVE.
2. Hover over the domain you want to edit and click on the Manage Icon on the right.
3. Click on EDIT DNS ZONE.
4. Click on NEW RECORD.
5. Select AAAA (IPv6 Address) in the Type dropdown menu.
6. In the Host field, enter the host or subdomain.
7. In the IP Address v6 field, enter the IPv6 address.
8. Click on SAVE.
9. Click on SAVE CHANGES.

Note: DNS changes may take up to 24 hours to propagate throughout the entire Internet.

Important: This option is only available if the domain is using our name servers.
