The DNS zone editor in your account allows you to configure and delegate sub-zones within your domain to other name servers.
Sub-delegation is configured using NS records. Follow these steps:
- Log in to your account and go to DOMAINS > ACTIVE.
- Hover over the domain you wish to configure and click on the Manage icon on the right.
- Click on EDIT DNS ZONE.
- Click on NEW RECORD.
- In the Type dropdown menu, select "NS (Name Server for sub-zone delegation)".
- Enter the sub-zone name in the Host field and the name server in the Nameserver field. (Be sure to include a "." at the end of the name server, e.g., "ns1.example.com.")
- Click SAVE to add the record.
- Repeat steps 4 through 6 to add additional name servers for the same sub-zone.
- Click SAVE to confirm each record.
- Click SAVE CHANGES to apply all updates.
Note: DNS changes may take up to 24 hours to propagate across the Internet.
Important: This feature is only available if the domain is using our name servers.
