How to import a zone file?

A zone file contains all the DNS records for a domain in BIND format. Typically, this is provided by your hosting provider or your previous name server provider.

To import the zone file for your domain, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your account and navigate to DOMAINS (Left Side Menu) > ACTIVE.
2. Hover over the domain you want to update and click on the Manage icon on the right.
3. Click on EDIT DNS ZONE.
4. Click on the Zone Tools button.
5. In the Right Side Menu, click on “IMPORT ZONE FILE.”
6. Paste the zone file content into the field that appears.
7. Click IMPORT to upload the zone file.
8. Click SAVE CHANGES to apply the update.

Note: DNS changes can take up to 24 hours to propagate across the Internet.

Important: This feature is only available if the domain is using our name servers.
