How do I add an A-record?

An A record links a domain or subdomain/host to an IPv4 address.

To add an A Record (IPv4), follow these steps:

1. Log in to your account and navigate to DOMAINS > ACTIVE.
2. Hover over the relevant domain and click on the Manage icon on the right.
3. Click on EDIT DNS ZONE.
4. Click on NEW RECORD.
5. In the Type dropdown menu, select A (IPv4 Address).
6. Enter the host or subdomain in the Host field.
7. Input the IPv4 address in the IP Address v4 field.
8. Click SAVE.
9. Click SAVE CHANGES to apply your updates.

Note: DNS changes may take up to 24 hours to propagate across the Internet.

Important: This option is only available if the domain is using our name servers.
