To remove SAN(s) (Subject Alternative Names), you need to reissue your MDC (Multi-Domain Certificate).
Note: No refund will be granted as the total SAN capacity of your MDC will remain unchanged. The specific SAN will be removed, but you will retain the ability to add a different SAN in its place.
Please follow the steps below:
- Log in to your account and navigate to PRODUCTS > SSL.
- Find the MDC from which you want to remove SANs and click on the Manage icon on the right.
- Click on “REISSUE THIS SSL.”
- The SANs currently included in the certificate will now be visible in the SAN field below the CSR box.
- Choose one of the following CSR options:
- Select "Previous CSR" to reuse the existing CSR.
- Select "Manual Entry" to copy and paste a new CSR into the CSR field.
- Choose "Upload Text File" to upload a CSR file.
- To extract SANs from the loaded CSR, click on "GET SAN FROM CSR."
Note: This may overwrite the current SANs. If needed, copy your existing SAN list elsewhere for reference. -
IMPORTANT: You can remove SANs in the SAN edition field.
The SANs that will be included in the reissued certificate are those visible in this field after clicking "REGISTER SAN ENTRIES."
If you make further edits, ensure you click "REGISTER SAN ENTRIES" again. - Click on "ACTIVATE" to complete the process.
