Adding SANs (Subject Alternative Names) to an MDC (Multi-Domain Certificate) is a two-step process. Please follow the steps below:
A. Upgrade SAN Quantity:
- Log in to your account and navigate to PRODUCTS > SSL.
- Locate the MDC to which you want to add SANs and click on the Manage icon on the right.
- Click on "Upgrade SANs Quantities."
- Enter the number of additional SANs and/or wildcard SANs you wish to add.
- Click on REVIEW & PAYMENT.
- Review your order in the cart, verify the invoice profile, accept the Terms & Conditions, and click on PLACE ORDER.
B. Reissue the MDC to Add the New SANs:
- Log in to your account and navigate to PRODUCTS > SSL.
- Locate the MDC to which you want to add SANs and click on "View" on the right.
- Click on "Reissue."
- The SANs currently included in the certificate will now be visible in the SAN field below the CSR box.
- If you want to use the previous CSR, select this option. If you prefer to use a new CSR, choose "Manual Entry" and paste the CSR into the CSR field. You can also upload the CSR file by selecting "Upload Text File."
- To extract and add the SANs from the loaded CSR, click on "GET SAN FROM CSR." Be aware that this action may overwrite the existing SANs. If necessary, copy the current SAN list elsewhere for comparison.
- IMPORTANT: You can edit (add, change, or remove) the SANs in the SAN edition field. The SANs that will be included in the newly reissued certificate are the ones visible in this field after clicking on "VALIDATE CSR." If you edit the SANs again, click "VALIDATE CSR" once more.
- Click on "ACTIVATE YOUR SSL CERTIFICATE" to complete the process.
