How to use my email address with Outlook?

Please follow the below steps to setup and use your email address with Outlook email client:

IMAP - Incoming Mail Server

Server: imap.openxchange.eu
Port: 993
Encryption/Security: SSL
Check: Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)

SMTP - Outgoing Mail Server

Server: smtp.openxchange.eu
Port: 587
Encryption/Security: TLS or STARTTLS
Check: Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)

Note: The outgoing mail server (SMTP) requires authentication using the same credentials as the incoming server.

While we recommend the use of IMAP, the POP3 protocol can also be used via the following details:

Server: pop.openxchange.eu
Port: 995
Encryption/Security: SSL
Check: Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)

IMPORTANT: We recommend using the following ports and encryption methods to connect to the mail servers:

• POP: 995 SSL
• IMAP: 993 SSL
• SMTP: 587 TLS or STARTTLS

TLS/SSL versions 1.0 and 1.1 for POP, IMAP, and SMTP are no longer supported by the Open-Xchange mail service. Please use an email client that supports TLS/SSL v1.2 or later, such as Outlook 2016 and above.
