How to delete my mailbox?

Before deleting your mailbox, ensure you back up any emails you wish to keep locally on your computer. The most efficient way to do this is by connecting to your mailbox via IMAP and copying emails and folders from the IMAP mail folders to the local mail folders of your mail client (e.g., Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail).

The IMAP settings for configuring your local mail client are as follows:

Incoming mail server (IMAP): imap.openxchange.eu

Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.openxchange.eu

We recommend using the following ports and encryption methods to connect to the mail servers:
IMAP: 993 SSL
SMTP: 587 TLS

To delete your mailbox, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your account and navigate to PRODUCTS (Left Side Menu) > EMAIL.
2. Locate the list of domains, click on the "SHOW ALL" icon next to the relevant domain, and then click on the Delete (Recycle Bin) icon next to the mailbox you wish to remove.
3. Click "DELETE" to confirm the action.

IMPORTANT: Deleting your mailbox will permanently erase all data associated with the account, including any linked services. This action is irreversible.
