How do I transfer my domain to another registrar?

To transfer your domain away, you need to contact your new registrar, who will guide you through their transfer process. Please follow the steps below to initiate the transfer-out process from your Moreweb account. During this process, the auth code will be automatically sent (if required), and the domain will be unlocked if it is currently locked.

1. Log in to your Moreweb account and open the MENU.
2. Navigate to DOMAIN NAMES > ACTIVE.
3. Locate the domain you wish to transfer and click on the Manage icon on the right-hand side.
4. Go to the Transfer section and click on TRANSFER OUT.

5. Check the following boxes:

   • Request to unlock the domain.
   • Confirm you have understood the guidelines.
   • Request the transfer-out.

   Once all boxes are checked, click TRANSFER OUT.

Most gTLDs and ccTLDs require an auth code. For most domains, this code will be automatically sent to the account holder's email address.
