To purchase, activate, and manually install an SSL certificate on your shared hosting, please follow the steps below:
A) Generate the CSR in your Plesk Control Panel:
- Log in to your account and navigate to PRODUCTS > WEB HOSTING.
- Click on "Manage" next to the relevant shared hosting product.
- Under the Plesk Control Panel section, click on MANAGE HOSTING.
- In the Plesk Control Panel, go to "Websites & Domains" and select the domain.
- Click on "SSL/TLS Certificates."
- Click on "Advanced Settings."
- Click on "Add SSL/TLS Certificate."
- Enter a Certificate name and complete the required fields.
Note: If you need to secure both www.example.com and example.com, enter www.example.com in the "Domain name" field. - Click on "Request."
- Click on the certificate name and scroll down to the CSR section to copy the CSR.
IMPORTANT: For security reasons, the private key must remain in your Plesk Control Panel. Do not copy or store it elsewhere.
B) Purchase an SSL Certificate:

C) Activate the SSL Certificate:
Follow the instructions in this link to activate your SSL certificate.
D) Install the SSL Certificate on Your Plesk Control Panel:
Once your SSL certificate has been issued and delivered to your Moreweb account, follow these steps to install it in Plesk:
- Log in to your account and navigate to PRODUCTS > WEB HOSTING.
- Click on the Manage icon next to the relevant hosting product.
- Under the Plesk Control Panel section, click on MANAGE HOSTING.
- In the Plesk Control Panel, go to "Websites & Domains" and select the domain.
- Click on "SSL/TLS Certificates."
- Click on "Advanced Settings."
- Select the certificate name.
- Scroll to the "Upload the certificate as text" section and paste the domain certificate into the "Certificate (*.crt)" field.
- Obtain the CA certificates: intermediate, cross-signing (only for Sectigo certificates), and root.
You can find them here. - Copy and paste the intermediate, cross-signing (if applicable), and root certificates in this order into the "CA certificate (*-ca.crt)" field.
- Click on "Upload Certificate."
- Go back to "Websites & Domains" in the Plesk Control Panel and select the domain.
- Click on "Hosting Settings."
- Under the "Security" section, ensure the following options are enabled:
- SSL/TLS support
- Permanent SEO-safe 301 redirect from HTTP to HTTPS
