Follow these steps to create a backup in your Plesk control panel:
- Log in to your account and go to PRODUCTS, then select the relevant product section from the sub-menu.
- Click on Manage next to the corresponding subscription.
- In the Plesk Control Panel section, click on MANAGE HOSTING (WEB HOSTING) or PLESK CONTROL PANEL (WORDPRESS).
- Click on Backup Manager at the top-right corner.
- Click on "Back up" at the top-left corner.
- Choose your desired options and click OK.
You can also schedule backup tasks in Plesk Backup Manager as follows:
- Log in to your account and go to PRODUCTS, then select the relevant product section from the sub-menu.
- Click on Manage next to the corresponding subscription.
- In the Plesk Control Panel section, click on MANAGE HOSTING (WEB HOSTING) or PLESK CONTROL PANEL (WORDPRESS).
- Click on Backup Manager at the top-right corner.
- Click on Schedule.
- Select "Activate this backup task" and configure your preferred options.
- Click Apply and OK to save the changes.
Once the backup is created, it will appear in the Backup Manager. You can also download the backup file locally by clicking the arrow next to the corresponding backup item.
To configure a remote backup on an FTP server, follow these steps:
- Log in to your account and go to PRODUCTS, then select the relevant product section from the sub-menu.
- Click on Manage next to the corresponding subscription.
- In the Plesk Control Panel section, click on MANAGE HOSTING (WEB HOSTING) or PLESK CONTROL PANEL (WORDPRESS).
- Click on Backup Manager at the top-right corner.
- Click on Remote Storage Settings.
- Select FTP.
- Enter the required data.
- Click Apply and OK to save your settings.
